Summer is the time to embrace light materials with loose flowing garments from shirts to dresses. A great way to add shape to a light, airy dress is by adding in a belt. The width of the belt can help to bring a defined waist to the garment. A simple belt, as seen above, can add a light touch to an outfit. You can also spice up an outfit by choosing a belt with beading, a neon color or a fun pattern. Just be careful the dress doesn’t shift up too much when you add the belt!
I can’t get enough of this girl. She has sass, heels and a red dress. When in doubt I will always choose a red dress. It’s flattering for all skin types, which is huge. It helps to emphasize a great tan or help to bring out the pink in the cheeks of lighter tones.
I’ve always admired women who learn how to do intricate braided hairstyles. I can do a simple French braid or an inside out French braid but that’s about it. Growing up with two brothers I didn’t have many chances to practice.
They look chic and are a great way to pull your hair away from your face without a ponytail. In this case it helps to showcase her open back. I would love to be able to create this braid crown for a fun night out.
