With the holidays approaching it’s time to start stocking up on festive outfits. The stores are full of dresses, skirts, fun tops in red and green with sequins and velvet galore! You can also get a good deal at stores having sales to attract customers for Black Friday. I’ve been checking out the department stores and little boutiques around Boston to pick out some great outfits and start getting ideas for presents. My tactic to get the best deals is to do a sweep, figure out what I want to buy and wait until the store has 40% off or more off everything. That way you can buy more presents and even something for yourself!
Be still my shopaholic heart! Back to school shopping sales are popping up all over the place. I may no longer be in school but there’s something about the start of the school year that gets me excited. These days it’s the generous sales!
Many department stores and boutiques bring down their prices to attract the rush for fall clothing and school supplies. These are great for families because stocking up for a new year can get pricy. On average, families will spend more than $660 on back-to-school shopping according to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey. It’s also a great time to give back with backpack drives and donations.
