I started Anne Madeline Designs as a way to stay connected to fashion and art as I work in communications. I grew up in Connecticut, graduated from Wellesley College and now live in Boston.

Anne Madeline Designs is a blog about fashion, experiencing life and enjoying the little moments. All the drawings included on the website are original and created by me. This is a place for my imagination to run rampant over style and anything that adds a dash of fabulous to everyday life.

I will admit when I popped over to yours my first thought was, “Oh, no, fashion?” (I don’t have much time to follow fashion at the moment if you’ve read any of my posts you’ll know why..) Anyway, after a brief look around on your site, I was IMPRESSED! It’s not some high-end fashion thing for models and the like, it’s real tips for real people from a real person!     Here’s a little message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.

    Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.

    You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my small collection. There are plenty of drop-down categories within the menu bar to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended 🙂

  22. We love it when a person bravely pursues their passions and lets the world have a peak at what they love. We may have somewhat different passions yet we can say we are chasing them.

    And thank you for following our blog. Through our photography and words we hope to inspire others to get out and see the world. And perhaps through those travels the world will become a smaller and less threatening place as we discover the many kindred spirits who share our passions, hopes and aspirations. As Mark Twain said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”

    It’s never too early or late to discover and follow your heart. Make time for the people, work, and causes you truly care about.

  45. I just love your fashion sketches! When I was a kid I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer – I would sketch ideas for outfits and even created a little “catalog”. And now I’ll paint little handbags, shoes and such when the mood strikes. Thanks so much for the follow on my blog and I look forward to following your blog as well! Happy New Year!
